Proverbs 15:22 
Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established.

I started this day like most week days, getting the kids ready for school and everyday routine things. But I had to hurry along this morning because I was meeting with a friend over some coffee this morning basically because I had some questions I wanted to bounce off of him and get his prospective on the subjects. As we sat together talking it dawned on me that this is what God wants us to do, fellowship with other believers that can encourage us to dive more into God on a regular basis.

I sat there in amazement of what God was doing at that time, everything that I want answers for were being said and I didn't even have to ask all the questions, God answered them. God made it even more clear that what has been going on with Merciful Father Ministries and my own life is what he wants me to do.

God has been working with me for the past few months about having a Mentor in my life and I have been praying that He would lead me to the right individual that He has for me. I knew my friend has had a mentor that he speaks very highly of, and thought maybe he could give me some insight of what to look for in someone for being a mentor in my life. Now I know that it needs to be a person that has a strong walk with God, and someone that has the wisdom from God to direct me or help me through different struggles in my life. When I went into the meeting I had a couple of people in mind and still are considering those options, but by talking to my friend I have a little better idea of what to look for. Thanks Ryan, for your Godly insight on the different areas in my life.

Well I get home and log onto the Merciful Father Ministries facebook page and see this:

The Lord is my Shepherd ----- that's a Relationship!
I shall not want ----- that's Supply! 
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures ----that's Rest!
He leadeth me beside the still waters -----that's Refreshment!
He restoreth my soul ----- that's Healing!
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness --that's Guidance!
For His name sake ----- that's Purpose!
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death--that's Testing!
I will fear no evil ----- that's Protection!
For Thou art with me ----- that's Faithfulness!
Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me -----that's Discipline!
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies------that's Hope!
Thou ann ointest my head with oil ----- that's Consecration!
My cup runneth over ----- that's Abundance!
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life----that's Blessing!
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord -----that's Security!
Forever ----- that's Eternity!

What an encouragement it was to read, specially after the morning I have already been having.

So with all it being said, I would like to challenge you to find someone, whether it be a friend, pastor or a fellow believer in Christ. To just sit down and let God bless you through them.

Thank you Father for this beautiful day that you have already given us, help us to keep our eyes on you. Help us to dive into your Word searching for what you have for us. for we cast our cares, troubles and everyday stress at your feet this morning. For we ask that you would mend the broken hearts, heal the sick, and encourage us to keep living for you and your will. We ask these things in Christ name, AMEN!
