Matthew 26:66-68

66What think ye? They answered and said, He is guilty of death.
67Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands,
68Saying, Prophesy unto us, thou Christ, Who is he that smote thee?

As I started the day I realized the pain was starting up again and started to feel unbearable. So I put the heating pad on it (I like to think the heating pad heals all things sometimes) and it subdued the pain for the moment. Started to get overwhelmed with the thoughts of my pain again, when a friend called me.

Now I have been trying to help her in finding a vehicle and she wanted to get an update on the findings and discuss a couple more options. Then she asked if we could pray at that time about it, I said most diffidently. So she said she would pray, as soon as she started the very first thing she prayed about was my pain I was having. Here's the funny thing about it, she knew nothing about how much pain I was in this morning. She doesn't do Facebook and I didn't tell her, in order for her to know was for God to tell her to call me and just pray with me. WOW, what an awesome God we serve!

After the call I started my devotions, for some reason it was one of those mornings that I just open the bible where ever my fingers open it and start reading. Guess where that was, yep the passage above talking about the pain and suffering that Christ endured before and during the crucifixion on the cross. What a way to make me be quiet and just meditate on Christ and what he has done for you and me. Time to stop dwelling in the pain and give it to Christ because he already took it to the cross so that I didn't have to suffer. Big lesson in my life this morning.

How about you?
Are you in pain?
Are you suffering?
Are you ready to give it to Christ?
If so do it right now!!!

He already suffered so that we don't have to, give it to Him today!

Have a blessed day in Christ!
