Eternity Counts


I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. — 1 Timothy 2:1-4

By His sovereign plan, God has placed those in authority over us. His Word urges us to pray for them and to seek godliness and holiness.

Let us pray for our president and government officials, for governments of nations hostile to Christianity and for Christians suffering for the faith. Lord, I pray you will break down strongholds against the Gospel and that You would usher in revival throughout the earth.
