WHAT TO PRAY: For the Spirit of Love in the Church

John 17:22,23,26

22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. 26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

Galatians 5:22

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Believers are one in Christ, as He is one with the Father. The love of God rest on them and can dwell in them. pray that the power of the holy ghost may work this love in believers, that the world may see and know God's love in them. Pray much for this.

HOW TO PRAY: As One of God's Remembrancers

Isaiah 62:6-7

6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence,7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

Study these words until your whole soul be filled with the consciousness, I am appointed intercessor. Enter God's presence in the faith. Study the world's need with that thought--it is my work to intercede; the Holy Spirit will teach me for what and how. Let it be an abiding consciousness: My great lifework, like Christ's, is intercession--to pray for believers and those who do not yet know God.
