Colossians 1:12-14
12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Often times we wonder...
"What kind of benefits would I get if I starting working at a new job?"
"What benefits are there if I help out at this special event?"
"If I become apart of a organization, what can can I benefit from it?"

Paul tells us in this passage of scripture about 5 benefits that God gives all believers through Christ:

1.) He enabled us to share his inheritance
2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

2.) He rescued us from Satan's kingdom of darkness and made us His children
Colossians 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

3.) He brought us into His eternal kingdom
Ephesians 1:5-6 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

4.) He purchased our freedom from sin and judgement with His blood
Hebrews 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

5.) He forgave all our sins
Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Have you received the benefits from God yet? If you are not sure today that if you died that you would go to Heaven and receive these benefits, then today is the day!

It is as simple as just putting your faith and trust in Jesus Christ today! With your heart wide open for God and believing totally in Him for salvation, pray right now asking Jesus to come into your heart and reside:

Dear God in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness.

I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin.

You said in Your Holy Word, Romans 10:9 that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved.

Right now I confess Jesus as the Lord of my soul. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved.

Thank you Jesus for your unlimited grace which has saved me from my sins. I thank you Jesus that your grace never leads to license, but rather it always leads to repentance. Therefore Lord Jesus transform my life so that I may bring glory and honor to you alone and not to myself.

Thank you Jesus for dying for me and giving me eternal life.
Amen.

Thank you God for the benefits we have received in Christ!
